How do I clean an oiled Pipercross performance air filter?
First, brush off any large dirt particles from the filter using a hand brush. Take the Cleaner (250ml bottle) and spray it on both sides of the filter. Let it soak for 10 to 15 minutes. Then, immerse the filter in a container of lukewarm water and gently rub it with your hands to remove the dirt. Repeat until the filter is clean.

Press the water out of the filter using your hands and dab it dry with a lint-free cloth (do not use kitchen paper; a clean fabric cloth can also be used).

Let the filter dry overnight. Do not use any heat sources such as a hairdryer or heater.

Once the filter is dry, place it on a lint-free cloth (or another clean surface that can get dirty). Shake the Dirt Retention Additive (100ml bottle) well before use and spray one layer on both sides of the filter. Wipe the rubber edges clean with a lint-free cloth. Let the filter rest for a while so the oil can soak in properly.

Reinstall the air filter and enjoy the performance of your Pipercross filter.

How do I clean a non-oiled (dry) Pipercross performance air filter?
Cleaning a Pipercross dry performance filter is very easy:
Spray some filter cleaner (250ml Cleaner bottle) onto the air filter and let it soak for 5 to 10 minutes.
Then rinse the filter with lukewarm water.

Let the filter dry. Make sure not to place it on a heater or use a hairdryer or any other heat source to dry it.

Once the filter is dry, you can reinstall it and enjoy the performance of your Pipercross filter. Do not use the Dirt Retention Additive (oil) from the cleaner kit for a non-oiled (dry) Pipercross filter.

With one bottle of Pipercross filter cleaner, you can clean your Pipercross air filter approximately 10 times (depending on the level of contamination).

Cleaning Interval for Pipercross Air Filters
We recommend cleaning your Pipercross air filter every 15,000–20,000 km and checking it at least once a year. Clean it if necessary.
This cleaning kit from Pipercross is designed for cleaning both oiled and non-oiled Pipercross air filters.
